Great with my cat who hates to travel. It is terrific to have a vet that comes to my house. It makes the cat feel comfortable and the owners less stressed by the appointment...L P in Burke
Dr. Apker has cared for my cats for the past 15 years. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and has a gentle touch with cats. Dr. Apker takes the time to give my cats a thorough examination and to answer my questions. Plus, it's convenient to have her come to our house.... L. Paulus of Springfield, VA
Dr. Apker & her veterinary assistant provided outstanding veterinary care for my cat Spike in March 2011. Spike is a wonderful cat but a challenging patient; he has a high anxiety level and as such can run into trouble with undergoing an examination. Other vets have had difficulty with performing a full check-up. During their visit, Dr. Apker & her vet asst not only collected a lot of information about & provided vaccines for Spike, but they also approached him with finesse & put him at the greatest level of ease possible. They even helped his less-than-mellow owner by providing detailed information before, during, & after the appointment. I'm delighted to have found a veterinary practice that focuses on preventive medicine & the comprehensive well-being of the non-human-animal patient. I honestly wish I could find a doctor as good for me as Dr. Apker & her practice are for Spike. It's wonderful to know that he is in careful, caring, & competent veterinary hands. ...
